| Beaverton, Oregon is a city located in Washington County in northwestern Oregon and it is a residential suburb of Portland. Beaverton was platted 1869, incorporated 1893. Located in the fertile Tualatin Valley, Beaverton was formerly mainly an agricultural market center; it now has diversified light industry, including the manufacture of sportswear and electronic equipment.
